“The GovTechTalent programme has positively impacted my life by giving me an opportunity to explore behind the metaphorical "curtain" of how government operates. I get to take part and learn about how it all works. My team allows me to explore what the agency I'm in does and I get to learn about different agencies by communicating with the other grads. The range of experiences has helped me learn more about what I want out of a career.

“So far, I've enjoyed the teams I've been working in and the social events with the other grads. It's eased the transition from university to work life by having a good support network from both my agency team and the other grads.

“I'm looking forward to the next rotations as I'm excited to explore how the other agencies operate and to try out different jobs to further explore what I'm interested in.”

Why should graduates apply? 

“Graduates should apply because GovTechTalent offers such a variety of roles, the agency rotations were unique to GovTech when I was looking at programmes, which made me favour it as I was unsure of what I wanted to do once I finished university. The social aspect with my fellow grads and the grads from previous cohorts has been great encouragement and helps in the transition from uni life to work life.”
